Fascinated as a child by the fairy tales told by her father, she felt an instinctive tie to her Irish heritage. From the age of five, she penned her own stories, but her series adult efforts were concentrated in Indiana and Michigan area historical writing that led to a local newspaper column "Climbing Your Family Tree."
A charter member of Michiana Fiction Writers and the Romance Writers of America, she is rediscovering the joys of story telling with her own romance tales. The March story "Blarney" was published in the final issue of the short-lived but quality-oriented romance short fiction magazine: "Interludes."
